NFA Engraving- Simple or Complex Location:

 

  • This option is for those who have approved NFA regulated items that require an engraving to be compliant with ATF regulations. Most commonly, this is for a Short-Barrelled Rifle (SBR) being converted from a full-length rifle.

  • The engraving will be for the name provided on your Form 1, which may be either you as an individual or your trust name, and your city and state. For instance, it may look like this:

  • You may choose the location of your engraving.

  • Simple: This listing is for simple option engravings, which include open, flat surfaces of the receiver. On an AR-15 variant, for instance, the side of the receiver in between the pins is a common choice. To choose a specific location, you must include a printout, upload a file, or email us a picture of the firearm with a circle drawn around the location you want the engraving. If nothing is specified, we will place the engraving according to our experience and preference.

  • Complex: In order to choose a more complicated location you must purchase the Complex Location option, which allows for places such as small, tight spaces or the inside of a magazine lip to be chosen. To choose a specific location, you must include a printout, upload a file, or email us a picture of the firearm with a circle drawn around the location you want the engraving. If nothing is specified, we will place the engraving according to our experience and preference.

  • A copy of your approved ATF form must be included with the shipment of your firearm or receiver. Please note that shipped items need to still be in original, legal condition. For instance, if your approval was for an SBR being converted from a rifle, the original full length barrel must still be installed. If being converted from a pistol, a stock may not yet be installed until the firearm is engraved and therefore fully compliant.

 

*NOTE* This selection is for an FFL service as it requires that the full firearm or serialized receiver be shipped to us. We are an FFL and can receive the shipment without issues. However please note that per ATF regulations the firearm must be shipped back to an FFL of your choice. Please provide your chosen FFL's contact and shipping information at the time of ordering this option.
